It's essentially an outdoor tap that allows you to run water from the inside of your house to the outside. You use this tap to attach your garden hose for many different jobs. The bib tap is made of brass and is primarily used as an outside tap or garden tap to provide an external water supply. The bib tap has a 1/2' inch male thread which makes it easy to connect on to a wall mounted fixing joined to a water pipe. Water pressure can be adjusted through the bib tap by adjusting the handle.
