Fan coil unit

Description

Here A fan coil unit is a relatively small piece of equipment that consists of a fan, a coil, and other components, that are used to cool or heat the air recirculating within a room. Some will also add fresh air to the space. Compared to the air handling unit (AHU), the fan coil unit is not as complex and extensive. It’s a singular aircon system that can stand and operate on its own to circulate air without the existence of duct work. Additionally, most fan coil units function by controlling the temperature of a space through the use of circulated cold or hot water. A fan coil unit (FCU), in its most basic terms, is a device that uses a coil and a fan to either heat or cool a room. Recirculated indoor air moves over the coil, which either heats or cools the air before pushing it directly back out into the room. Fan coil systems can be for heating, cooling, or both, and requires no additional ductwork. refrigerant based Fan-Coil Unit. Other variants utilize a chilled, or heated water loop for space cooling, or heating, respectively. A fan coil unit ( FCU ), also known as a Vertical Fan Coil-Unit ( VFC ), is a device consisting of a heat exchanger (coil) and a fan.  for more details download this file.
