Details of M8 nut welded.

Description

This Drawing is Details of M8 nut welded. A weld nut is a type of nut that is specially designed to be welded to another work piece. Different types of weld nuts are used for different purposes. These include round base nuts, slab base nuts, tab base nuts, hex and square nuts, retainer weld nuts, tube end nuts, twin piloted nuts and more. As a general principle, welding should not be done on bolts or nuts. However, if essential, the composition of the bolt (and nuts if involved) must be carefully considered. Retainer weld nuts, also known as bridge weld nuts, have a floating nut retained inside a retainer to compensate for inconsistencies. The retainer is welded to the work piece while the nut is allowed to float. For more details and information download the drawing file.
